Feed System Organization - Complete ✅#

What Was Done#

1. Created /feed Directory#

Consolidated all feed-related scripts and documentation into a single location:

Moved all secrets to aesthetic-computer-vault (private repo):

3. Updated DevContainer#

Modified .devcontainer/entry.fish to automatically:

  • Check for vault secrets on container start
  • Copy .env to persistent location
  • Export all variables globally
  • No manual setup required!

4. Documented Everything#

Created comprehensive documentation:

  • README.md - Architecture, API, troubleshooting (6.6 KB)
  • SETUP-SUMMARY.md - Quick overview and setup (3.5 KB)
  • QUICKREF.md - Command cheat sheet (2.5 KB)
  • DEPLOYMENT.md - Worker deployment guide (2.5 KB)
  • channel-config.json - Active channel & playlists (1.7 KB)

How to Use#

On Container Restart#

Nothing! Secrets are automatically loaded from vault via entry.fish.

To Rebuild Feed#

cd /workspaces/aesthetic-computer/feed
./build-feed.fish

To Deploy Worker#

cd /workspaces/aesthetic-computer/feed/dp1-feed
wrangler deploy

Worker Location#

The Cloudflare Worker source code remains at:

/workspaces/aesthetic-computer/feed/dp1-feed/
