I am syncing a few repos from my Forgejo instance that have commits addressed to 35247379+helpimnotdrowning@users.noreply.github.com. The domain has no MX record and fails at https://tangled.org/tangled.org/core/blob/master/appview/email/email.go#L52 . Since there's no way to verify this email address, is there no way to associate it to my account?

yeah, only emails with MX records can be associated with your account.
