5## NEKO Encryption

7NEKO is a modification of the STROBE spec, to remove redundancies in the spec and to simplify further its API surface. By doing so, it is possible to improve the throughput of the encryption and also tighten some of its APIs to be stronger against misuse. For more deets, look at the NEKO crate for further explanation.
