It would be great to have a toggle to be able to restrict code on mobile to the viewport, requiring that it wraps to avoid left-right sidescroll.

if somebody is looking to pick this up: I would add a checkbox to enable/disable wrap and according use tailwind's peer-has-checked class to add classes to the code view.
