🧩 About Time-Traveler#

Created during the hackathon “Just a Hackathon”, this is a top-down puzzle adventure where every step matters and every mistake becomes a lesson.

You navigate a world of shifting blocks, pressure plates, sealed doors, and hidden death traps. The objective is clear: reach the exit. The path to it demands careful planning, spatial reasoning, and the courage to experiment.

Inspired by the time-reversal mechanics of Prince of Persia, the game introduces a checkpoint-based time loop. As you move forward, your progress is silently recorded. When a trap is triggered or a fatal error is made, time collapses and you are pulled back to your last checkpoint. The world resets, but your memory of the puzzle does not. Knowledge is the only thing that truly moves forward.

Pressure plates are the heart of progression. Doors respond only when their plates are activated, often requiring blocks to be positioned with precision or actions to be performed in the correct sequence before time rewinds.

Danger is never far away. Spike floors, false paths, and sudden kill zones are hidden in plain sight. A brief pause follows each death, creating the sensation of time itself rewinding before the level begins a new.

This is a game about learning through failure, about mastering space and sequence, and about outsmarting a world that resets but never forgets.
