Then we sang some music from the English renaissance: Farrant's [Call to Remembrance](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPYgrR84yxY), Morley's [Nolo Mortem Peccatoris](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Et6l-Gop5Es), the Agnus Dei from Byrd's [Mass for Four Voices](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJG7H-Xa5xI), and Tallis' [Hear the Voice and Prayer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8KXemDXXjzM). Then, to give us a break, Lynda played variations on the theme of Amazing Grace on the piano, followed by the more dramatic fare of the concert: Anerio's [Christus factus est](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fArGQY_wvmA), Victoria's [O vos omnes](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m11B9GuDUmM), Purcell's [Funeral Sentences for Queen Mary](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mY0QyXiJVVo) (from which the title of the concert is drawn), Attwood's [Turn thy Face](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqgOMVfPr_c) with Dan Walker singing the solo section, Goss' [O Saviour of the World](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QLS98Y47Vs), Stainer's [God So Loved the World](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLvthjDEUnQ) and finally Lloyd's [View me, Lord](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4XdIWfdmlo). For an encore we sang the Nunc Dimittis from Gibbons' [Short Service](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ejmLREGDWo). } 11 + \p{The concert was quite well attended and raised some much needed funds for the music of the church. We got a lot of positive feedback, I think the concert went very well. Thanks especially to our guest singers, Dan Walker and Patrick Baker! }
