The main objective of 2APL, a BDI-based multi-agent programming language, is providing practical constructs for the implementation of cognitive agents. One of the most important feature that 2APL provedes is the theoretical model . Other important feature is the use of Prolog resolution system, its brings a powerfull way to reasoning about the beliefs of the agent, the goals and the plans.
